Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-code domain extension is really popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building imaginative and appealing domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-remember domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to share it with associates and acquaintances. The extension can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information sector in view of the fact that IT is an abbreviation, which is known all over the world.

Because dot IT domains are not provided directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that administrates this TLD, such a domain can be obtained through a third-party firm, such as ours. You can acquire a .IT domain for no more than a year at a time, and the domains are transferable, so you can move your existing domain over to us and we will renew it when the transfer has been finalized.
